Meet Titus Nichols
As the founder of Nichols Injury Law, Titus has over a decade of experience fighting for regular people both in and out of courtrooms across the country. He is a trial lawyer with over 40 reported jury trial verdicts; as a result, opposing counsel and insurance companies know that he will not hesitate to fight hard for his clients and take a case to trial.

A Background in Service
Prior to founding Nichols Injury Law, Titus served as a violent crimes trial and appellate prosecutor in Augusta, Georgia. In that role, Titus prosecuted over 1,000 criminal matters, tried 30 jury trials, and never lost a single murder trial. Titus’ record as an appellate prosecutor included submitting dozens of submitting and arguing dozens of matters before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court.
Prior to serving as a prosecutor, Titus was the law clerk for the Honorable Robert N. Jenkins & the Honorable Alex Kinlaw, Jr. of the 13th Judicial Circuit in Greenville, South Carolina.
In 2018, he graduated from the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) Leadership Education & Advanced Direction (LEAD) Program.
For three years in a row (2019, 2020, and 2021) Titus has been named a Georgia Rising Star by Super Lawyers. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are recognized as a Rising Stars. In addition to his work in the courtroom.
Military Career
Beyond his civilian responsibilities, Titus also serves as an Officer in the United States Army as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) for the Georgia Army National Guard. As a JAG officer, Titus advises military commanders on operational, administrative, and fiscal law matter. He has also had the honor of defending Soldiers facing courts-martial, non-judicial punishments, administrative separations and various federal investigations.
Professor
Titus has also had the opportunity to pass on his skills through teaching as a professor at several distinguished institutions. He has served as an instructor of Trial Practice at Furman University, an Adjunct Professor for Augusta University. He also has taught future attorneys from the University of Georgia School of Law through his Plaintiff’s Practice course.
Community Involvement
Titus finds tmie to give back to his community in various ways. He has a proud member of the Omicron Mu Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc. He also serves on the UGA Young Alumni Committee with other proud Georgia Law Dawgs! In addition to being a graduate of Leadership Augusta, Titus is also a graduate of the Class of 2022 Leadership Cobb.
